Adrian, MI – Another busy week of playoff sports is under way today, as boys basketball regional play will take place this afternoon, all the way to playoff hockey on Saturday. Here is the run-down:

Tuesday 3/4 – In boys basketball… Adrian Maples (20-4, 10-0 SEC White) vs. Flat Rock (16-8, 11-3 Huron League) at Milan High School 5:30pm on 96.5fm The Cave and 965thecave.com with John Koehn.

Wednesday 3/5 – In girls basketball district semifinals…Tecumseh Indians (20-1, 10-0 SEC-White) vs. Dundee Vikings (6-17, 3-11 Lenawee County Athletic Association) at 5:30pm at Adrian High School. Then, the Adrian Maples (10-12, 4-6 SEC-White) vs. Madison Trojans (17-5, 11-3 Lenawee County Athletic Association) Both game will be with John Koehn on 96.5fm The Cave and 965thecave.com 

Thursday 3/6 – If Adrian boys win Tuesday, they would play the winner of Romulus Summit Academy North (20-3, 10-0 Charter School Conference-Gold) and Redford Westfield Prep (14-10, 4-6 Charter School Conference-Gold) at Milan High School at 7pm. John Koehn would have the call on 96.5fm and 965thecave.com

Friday 3/7 – Girls District Basketball Championship basketball will be played at 6pm at Adrian High School, with the teams to be determined. The winner of the Tecumseh/Dundee and Adrian/Madison games would face each other for the title. John Koehn will be back on the mic on 96.5fm The Cave and 965thecave.com

Saturday 3/8 – Both Adrian College NCAA hockey teams will be on the road Saturday to face St. Norbert College in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association tournament championship games. The women’s team (23-3-2, 15-1-2 NCHA) will play for the Slaats Cup beginning at 2:45pm EST with the pregame show. The men’s team (18-9-1, 10-7-1 NCHA) will play for the Harris Cup beginning at 7:45pm EST with the pregame show. Ian Wendt will broadcast both games on 96.5fm The cave and 965thecave.com
