Angola, IN – It was a weekend of mixed results for the Adrian College NCAA Hockey teams against Trine University, with the women’s team skating to 9-0 and 7-0 wins, and the men’s team dropping their road game 3-1 and tying their home game 2-2 (but losing in a shootout 2-1) to the Thunder.

The Bulldogs and Thunder will meet on the ice for a second consecutive weekend after AC won their final two games of the regular season. The NCHA Slaats Cup Quarterfinal Round will feature the two teams again, this time for a two game series (plus mini game if necessary) in Adrian Friday and Saturday. No. 4 Seed Men to Host Milwaukee School of Engineering in Quarterfinal Round of NCHA Tournament
After their Friday night loss to Trine University, Adrian College cemented their seeding in the NCHA Harris Cup Tournament. The Bulldogs will host MSOE Friday and Saturday. Just like the women’s series, the Quarterfinal round will feature a two game series, with a mini-game if the teams split the two contests. Here are the other Harris Cup matchups:
