
Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County 2024 football season has come to a close, with two high school and the two collegiate teams in action Saturday afternoon.
The Britton-Deerfield Patriots were one win away from a trip to Marquette and a State Championship game appearance, but fell short in the D2 8-player MHSAA semifinals. BD fell to Morrice at home, 36-0, ending their season 10-2.
The Hudson Tigers had their postseason come to an end Saturday, also at home, in a Regional Championship game. Hudson fell to Schoolcraft, 28-16, also ending their season 10-2.
At the collegiate level, both Siena Heights University (3-7, 2-3 MFSA Mideast) and Adrian College (6-4, 3-4 MIAA) ended their seasons Saturday…with SHU dominating at Madonna 45-3 and AC falling to (RV) Alma College 31-7 at home.
