Lenawee County, MI – Little League baseball districts began this weekend with 3 day of action to report.
In the 9-11 year old league hosted by Blissfield, play opened up with Tecumseh defeating Ash Carleton by a score of 11-1 and Blissfield beating Plymouth Canton 15-0. Ash Carleton would play Plymouth Canton the following day, coming away with a 14-4 victory. Tecumseh now faces off against Blissfield tonight at 6:30.
In the 8-10 year old league hosted by Tecumseh, the 1st round of play had 3 matchups. Tecumseh National came away with a win vs Sand Creek 23-1, while Plymouth Canton beat Tecumseh American 14-0.
In the other game Ash Carleton demolished Madison 28-0. On the loser’s side of the bracket, Tecumseh American eliminated Madison with a score of 13-3.
In 2nd round action yesterday, Tecumseh National won against Blissfield 10-7 and Ash Carleton shutout Plymouth Canton 6-0, leaving Tecumseh National to face Ash Carleton on Wednesday as the 2 unbeaten teams on the winner’s side of the bracket.
Today there are 2 games on the losers side as Sand Creek plays Plymouth Canton and Tecumseh American plays Blissfield, both games are tonight at 6:30.
