Toledo, OH – The Mud Hens get back to back wins after a dominant performance against the St. Paul Saints.
They take their first lead right away in the 1st when Nick Solak grounds out to allow a run to score. Then the Hens add another run in the 3rd off of Tyler Nevin’s sacrifice fly to give them a 2-0 lead. Nevin added another run in the 5th when he hit a solo home run to make it 3-0.
In the 8th the Hens are able to grow their lead more when Corey Joyce hits a double that allows 2 more runners to score. The Hens will add one more run to complete a shutout of the Saints, for a 6-0 win.
They get ready to play the Saints again tonight at 7:05.
