Tecumseh — The Adrian Maples boys basketball team defeated the Tecumseh Indians at Tecumseh 54-40. Joe Francis led Adrian in scoring with 27 points.
After the first quarter of play, the score was 12 – 2 in favor of Adrian. By halftime, the score was 17 – 12, with Adrian in the lead.
At the end of the third quarter, Adrian was leading 34 – 26. A strong fourth quarter by the Maples secured the 54 – 40 win.
