Adrian, MI – It’s a playoff atmosphere in Adrian this weekend…with multiple teams at the local colleges playing in their conference’s post season tournaments at home.
At Adrian College, the Women’s NCAA DIII Ice Hockey team will be in the quarterfinal round of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Slaats Cup playoffs. The Bulldogs will hit the ice as the No. 1 seed and battle the No. 8 seed Lawrence University at 7pm Friday and 3pm Saturday.
The Men’s NCAA DIII Ice Hockey team is already in the semi final round of the NCHA Harris Cup playoffs, and will play Trine University at 7pm this Saturday. The Bulldogs are the No. 1 seed, the Thunder are the No. 4 seed.
At Siena Heights University, the Women’s basketball team heads to the semi final round of their Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference playoffs Saturday afternoon at 5pm. The No. 2 seed Saints will play the No. 3 seed Rochester University.

On 96.5fm The Cave- Ian Wendt will be on the call at Adrian College for both Saturday games (women’s at 3 and men’s at 7pm).
On 103.9fm WLEN- Jeff Bowman and Fred Smith will broadcast the Siena Heights basketball game at 5pm.
