Adrian, MI – Another busy sports weekend is upon us, with week 3 of the high school football season taking place tonight across Lenawee County. Between 103.9fm WLEN and 96.5fm The Cave, there will be games all weekend long!
Friday, Sept. 9th – 103.9 WLEN will carry Adrian High School football (1-1), as they go for their second straight win this weekend…battling Ypsilanti High at 7pm. John Koehn will be on the call…pregame at 6:45pm.
96.5 The Cave will be in Pinckney tonight, as the Tecumseh Indians (2-0) will go for three in a row. This will be the first SEC White contest for the Tribe this season. Jeff Bowman will have the play-by-play, with a pregame show at 6:45pm.
Saturday, Sept. 10th – The Adrian College Bulldog football team (0-1) has their home opener at 1pm Saturday, as the ‘Dawgs take on Hanover College. Pregame show starts at 12:45pm, with Ian Wendt on the call.
At about 7:30pm, The Cave will carry a featured national college football game. This weekend it will be Arizona State vs Oklahoma State.
Sunday, Sept. 11th – Sunday will start with “Inside the Cave: Weekend Edition” from 11am-1pm. Jeff Bowman and Ian Wendt will be at ZZ’s Sports Bar to talk local and state sports, leading up to the Lions week 1 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles at 1pm.
The weekend will conclude with The Cave broadcasting the Sunday Night Football game (Tampa Bay at Dallas) at around 8pm.
