Tecumseh, MI – It was Division 2 District doubleheader basketball Monday night in Tecumseh as Blissfield battled Stockbridge in game 1. The Royals struggled offensively as the Panthers jumped to a 24-4 1st quarter lead and rolled to a 74-33 win.
Kara Stutzman the D.S. Johnson and Associates player of the game paced Blissfield with 15 points.
In game 2, both Adrian and Tecumseh struggled with a shortage of players as each squad dressed only 6 varsity players, but Tecumseh placed 3 players in double figures and the Maples had none in a 63-24 Tecumseh win.
Morgan White the Adrian D.S. Johnson and Associates player of the game led Adrian with 9. Jaden Benschoter the Tecumseh D.S. Johnson and Associates player of the game, led all scorers with 21 points. Chesney Wilke had 14 and Hailey Dennes had 10.
